the weiguo is asking all of you to go for a cruise on starcruise virgo. so here are the details!

Its a cruise to phuket & penang for 4 days & 3 nights leaving on the 22nd of march. Sunday 3 p.m. to wednesday 7 p.m! The price for now is $498 untill this type of room is fully booked. So its subjected to increase with delay.. Haha. Its 4 per room!

There's 6 meals a day apparantly, so huitong i suppose you don't have to worry about getting hungry. (:

Facilities wise there's a pool, sunbathing deck spa, sauna, games room, gym, pub, disco.

i confess that im not too eager to welcome the new year, contrary to what that explosive greeting might have suggested. because this year marks a new phase of life. a year that already has started with so much uncertainties, what with the worrying over A level results, uni applications and the future. i remember 2008 started off feeling like 2007 has been prolonged. im not ready to let go of 2008.the memories, the things that we used to do. im starting to get emo now. haha

these two years had been awesome and y'all had been a great part of it! i want to say that i have never regretted joining canoeing 2 years ago. even though there were painful and exhausting times during training, frustrations, angst and disappointments along the way, im still glad that i took it all and hung in there. thank you all for being such wonderful mates, for helping, encouraging and including me! my studies suffered, but i dont blame canoeing at all. even if i joined gardening, im sure my studies would be equally bad.

thank y'all for making my two years in college such a fantastic experience. (:

Py's been upset. Maybe it's her period, but she thinks it's cause of prelims too. Not the papers, but her HANDLING the prelims. She's upset a little too cause everyone says Why you worry! You fail what?! But the thing is she's not even close to getting what she got for terms. And the thing is, it's not about the results, it's more like how she's treating her studies. I don't think the py that studies very hard and is constantly sressed about her studies would have went out tonight to holland. Everyone's like stressed. She gets stressed too but then she felt stressed so many times she becomes so damn effective at brushing stress aside and then she doesn't feel like studying anymore. She keeps thinking too about how she should have played harder before. She's thinking too about how maybe she should see the school counsellor (seriously). What if she doesn't pick up and start studying properly like how she tells herself she would after prelims? The py before wouldn't feel guilty when people say Don't you have prelims? (when she goes down to row), she would have been scared. She really wouldn't be doing alot of things she's doing nowadays. I think if there's a stress pill (that makes you stress), py would like to have it. So if you might still be confused, py just isn't studying as hard as she ought to be right now and she wishes that she's upset over boys rather than this.

I am so prepared to fail.
I've planned how to feel when i fail.
I wrote a speech (in my head) to tell my friends (who would never have thought that i would fail and were so sure that i was bull shitting) about why i failed.
I wrote a speech (on paper) to my dad to explain why I need retail therapy after failing prelims

sorry about dinner last night, i felt and feel so stupid for crying but i couldn't help it - i blame it on hormones, they occasionally play tricks on me and give me these crazy mood swings so i get upset at the lamest and most trivial things (not that this was trivial or lame), even though most of the time i don't show it but i guess i couldn't control it this time. thanks cbmouth (and halle berry) for continuing my friend's efforts to console me over the phone, it helped a lot! haha. and thanks to the rest of you guys for trying to cheer me up as well (ie. jasmine sending me a message to cheer up despite being only two seats away)

anyway i'm too lazy to churn out words and arrange coherent sentences to describe the turmoil of emotions that was and still is(?to a lesser extent) going through my head .. everything is somewhat of a vague fleeting concept..

but in essence, i guess i don't know what ncc meant for you guys, but to me while it was "for fun", it at the same time represented some form of closure; which explains why some of us were upset with our race results (the jolly mega great canoe were adamant on ending off with a big bang, but eventually things didn't turn out the way we wished for), despite participating in ncc just for fun, or perhaps even to procrastinate against falling back into the whole studying-for-prelims loop. This closure most certainly did not symbolize an end to our team-ship (if there was such a word), or friendship, or a final conclusion to canoeing. Like big smelly chaoyang chris says, -
