ACANOEINGIRLS :D

Hi friends! How have you guys been? :) People i haven't seen in ages, i hope you all are doing fine! Okay actually i've seen most of you quite recently lah. and i hope you are having fun at your new job lingers! heh.

Anyhow, we have a few events coming up so here are the plans for them!

1. THE WANG'S 18TH BIRTHDAY:

1st Dec, Monday
6PM@Cineleisure

i know we sent a mass ptmf to keep thursday free, but we're shifting the celebration to monday 1st dec instead. so the 4th dec thing is OFF. anyways, at cine, we're going to spring a surprise on her, then go for dinner at heeren at some jap restaurant. they're offering 50% off for ladies on monday nights (hence the change in timing). if you all want, we can go for some drinks at indochine after that. yeehaw!

2. PROM:

2nd - 3rd dec, tues - wed
8PM@cbay's

okay, if you haven't yet been informed, we're CRASHING. (YES FRIENDS, PLEASE DRESS UP. DRESS UP. DRESS UP.) if you don't already have a table, that is. we'll be meeting at cbay's BY 8pm (which means you can go over earlier if you want, but what time exactly you'll have to liaise with her yourself), and we'll head on over to the shang... and reach around 9, 930 or so. prompromprom, blahblahblah, following which we'll get a move on and head for post prom! partypartyparty, blahblahblah, then it's back to cbay's house again where we'll crash for the night. this means that when we met at cbay's earlier, you should have brought an overnight bag and dumped it there. lingers, you gotta figure this out since you're going with your class !

3. * SURPRISE PARTY:

5th Dec, Friday
6.30pm@caribbean condo (take bus no. 30 from vivo city, drop off at 2nd stop)

I SWEAR CANOEISTS ARE THE MOST HARDWORKING PEOPLE AROUND.

we hog the library in the day. we hog the void deck in the night. we fill the hub and the sports complex. we even come to school on saturdays AND sundays to mug. those who dont mug in school, hide at macdonalds, at changi, at starbucks, at nus, at coffee bean, at public libraries. we study overnight, 24/7. seriously, ive never seen people who mug so hard before.

so, all the more, we shouldnt fear, my friends. because i know all of you will be champions in your own little ways.

if we can row 22k on rough choppy waters, complete 22km, complete with portage, or even do 4 sets of 2.5km on, 0.5km off, we can do anything.
