sorry about dinner last night, i felt and feel so stupid for crying but i couldn't help it - i blame it on hormones, they occasionally play tricks on me and give me these crazy mood swings so i get upset at the lamest and most trivial things (not that this was trivial or lame), even though most of the time i don't show it but i guess i couldn't control it this time. thanks cbmouth (and halle berry) for continuing my friend's efforts to console me over the phone, it helped a lot! haha. and thanks to the rest of you guys for trying to cheer me up as well (ie. jasmine sending me a message to cheer up despite being only two seats away)

anyway i'm too lazy to churn out words and arrange coherent sentences to describe the turmoil of emotions that was and still is(?to a lesser extent) going through my head .. everything is somewhat of a vague fleeting concept..

but in essence, i guess i don't know what ncc meant for you guys, but to me while it was "for fun", it at the same time represented some form of closure; which explains why some of us were upset with our race results (the jolly mega great canoe were adamant on ending off with a big bang, but eventually things didn't turn out the way we wished for), despite participating in ncc just for fun, or perhaps even to procrastinate against falling back into the whole studying-for-prelims loop. This closure most certainly did not symbolize an end to our team-ship (if there was such a word), or friendship, or a final conclusion to canoeing. Like big smelly chaoyang chris says, -

Of course i am, and of course i'm still going to come down to help the juniors out and continue training at the same time, but it's just.. it? you know? at least after nationals last week i knew there was one more event to look forward to, but now marks somewhat of an official end to our jc canoeing career, an official end to going down to macrtichie (officially) for training.. well, you know what i mean.

Ladies, the Great Eastern Women 10K is back and registration has begun.On this 26th October 2008, thousands of like-minded women are expected to gather at the Padang to take part in the 5km fun run or to challenge themselves over the gruelling 10km competitive run at the iconic Great Eastern Women 10K.This year, the competition also heats up with the introduction of the all new Tiffany Corporate Challenge.

i dont want all this to end. what's gonna happen to pull ups at the void deck? rushing down to the gate after lessons. waiting at the void deck for shaun to come. sitting/lying outside the gym. lunch at golden rooster. and prince. bubble tea!! debriefs outside the shed. walking barefooted in the muddy grounds of macRitchie. double carrying t1s and k1s. squeezing our bags in the already full back sheds. carrying our dboat paddles to school and attracting all the unwanted attention. and many many many many things.

oh no, im like some emo shit now. my study life is a mess. probably a goner. i wanna still paddle, but its not going to be the same anymore. the only happier thing is that i dont have to drag my lazy ass up that early in the morning anymore. and eat fried food. but that doesnt really make me very much happier. people say we can focus on studies once this is all over. haha, like real. i feel like burning all the books.
